Thompson Place - A missionary guest house in Omaha Nebraska

Welcome to Thompson Place! We are Keith and Lisa Strasser, and we host this apartment in West Omaha. We both grew up in homes where hosting missionaries was a regular event and have enjoyed continuing that in our own home. 

For about 7 years, we had parents living in our lower-level apartment. They have both gone home to be with the Lord now, and we have renovated their apartment with the intent of allowing those who serve in different locations a place where they can live while in the Omaha area. 

This non-smoking, non-vaping, and pet free apartment has a separate entrance and a garage. There are large windows facing south and west, so plenty of sunshine in the apartment. The living space is about 1,600 square feet, has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Currently we have one room with a queen bed, a room with a bunk bed, and a room with a twin bed.

This is a fully furnished, pleasantly decorated apartment. It is stocked with everything from tissues to furniture. For those who need a vehicle, we can provide a Toyota Highlander, with comfortable seating for 6. You can fly into Omaha's Eppley Airfield with just your luggage, arrange transportation to our apartment and operate from there. 

We are conveniently located in West Omaha. Close to shopping, restaurants, and major streets. While we want to get to know you while you are here, you will have privacy and your own space.

Thompson Place has no set fee. We offer this space as a ministry of care and welcome, and we gratefully receive whatever contribution fits comfortably within your budget.
